We had a busy congested period with two game weeks sandwiched close together. First up was a huge DGW followed swiftly by a small BGW. Gameweek 30 bought as this year Supporters Shield winner Toronto FC and the first team securing a playoff spot in the Western Conference Vancouver Whitecaps. Fantasy MLS Gameweek 28 Review and Gameweek 29 Preview

In MLS we had a high goal scoring round, with 42 goals and 9 clean sheets, yet it was all about Atlanta United: they tied the league record for biggest margin of victory. A less auspicious league record was created by the Revs who went without a shot over 90 minutes: a first of it’s kind! Fantasy MLS Gameweek 27 Review and Gameweek 28 Preview

Toronto FC secured their playoff place, Valeri broke a record by scoring in seven consecutive games, Colorado picked up their first win on the road for the season, and Atlanta United found a new home the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Yes, another game week over in Fantasy MLS. Compared to other gameweeks there were not that many goals, yet quite few managers still managed to cross the 100 points mark. Fantasy MLS Gameweek 25 Review and Gameweek 26 Preview

It was a big double gameweek in which we saw Toronto rewriting the history with best points per season while LA Galaxy continuing with their biggest slump ever. We witnessed 51 goals including 4 braces. On the darker side 8 red and 66 yellow cards were issued, two missed penalties and two own goals. Many managers went close or crossed that illusive 200 points barrier. The Dream Team was dominated by Real Salt Lake and Toronto FC with Rusnak as outstanding player. Continue reading

Fantasy MLS Gameweek 20 Review and Gameweek 21 Preview

The massive double gameweek didn’t start well. The first day was full of madness / drama with 26 goals staggering 29 yellow and 4 red cards. Two of the highest owned players were sent off, and a third ended with an injury scare. Nevertheless, it was a busy round with 56 goals including 6 braces and 7 clean sheets, and the Dream Team was dominated by Seattle and NYRB players. Continue reading
