Rate My Fantasy Premier League Team

Rate my Fantasy Premier League team for game week 6

Here to help. Post your team and get good constructive feedback on your selections. We will share our thoughts and concerns to help each other build better teams and hopefully win our respective mini-leagues.

How does it work?

Tell us your first 11, bench, cash in the bank and captain as we’ll take a look. We might tell you there is too much money sitting in the bank. We might question if you have the right striker or goalkeeper. We will point out obvious errors like it is rarely a good idea to have a defender as captain. For sure you will be told about the absence of a ‘star’ player and the captain de-jour.

Option 1: Post your team using the Rate My Team Adviser’s algorithm

Based on published research, and capable of machine learning, our Automated Adviser is a powerful FPL analytics tool. Our Points Prediction engine takes into account new signings, formation changes, manager changes, and many other factors.

However, Fantasy Football First’s uniqueness is that as well as the excellent analytics engine, we have experienced FPL managers who’s opinion you can canvas. Data and experts – a powerful winning combination. Check if your team is ready and import your FPL team. Enter your FPL Team Code and import your team direct from the FPL site!

Option 2: Write your team in a comment

Post the players you select in the formation you want to play them, and separately list your subs., transfers and remaining cash in the bank. For example:

Please rate my team:

Forster
Stones, Bailly, Mee
Alli, Willian, David Silva, Carroll
Lukaku, Benteke, Jesus
Defoe, Lukaku, Kane
Subs: Elliot, Evans, Stephens and Iwobi.

Captain: Lukaku and Vice is Jesus.
Money in the bank: £0.2m
Planned transfers: Willian -> Phillips so I have cash to upgrade Jesus to Kane next week

Link your team

Linking your team means anyone can click on your profile image and see your team. This helps because the reviewer can see your transfer history and get a sense of your overall strategy. After all, we don’t want to suggest a player you have just sold.

To link your team

1. get the url of your team from fantasy.premierleague.com. To do this open the game and click on POINTS. In the “Game Week Points” section you will see “View Gameweek history”. Open the Gameweek history page. Copy this URL.

2. Click “Profile” in the footer of the site. This will open your profile page.

The website field is in yellow on the image above.

3. copy the url into the Website field on your profile page and save.

  1. The fourth-round draw in full:
Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham United
    Bristol City v Crystal Palace
    Swansea City v Manchester United
    Arsenal v Norwich City
    Chelsea v Everton
    Manchester City v Wolverhampton Wanderers
    Leicester City v Leeds United
    Bournemouth v Middlesbrough

  2. Firmino is dropping tonight…..Mee and Long are also on the verge of price drop… damn !! Tadic is not performing…time to make my transfer.

    (1) Firmino > Aguero….and then downgrade either Alonso > 4.7m or Alli > 7.2m for a 4ph…though can’t think of any 7.2m in-form mid

    (2) Forget Aguero….Tadic > Silva….and Alonso > 5.9m def (Jones/ARS/EVE) for a 4ph.

    Any thoughts? 0.7m ITB, 1 FT…team below.
    DDG, Elliot
    Alonso, Davies, Dawson, Mee, Long
    Alli, Tadic, Ch-Moting, Atsu, Carroll
    Kane, Luka, Firmino

    • @GoalMachine Tadic to Ritchie is likely to be my move this week, for what it’s worth.

You’ve got to be zen about price rises.

Silva’s not a bad punt. I thnk he’s got an ok record against CP.

      • @Kralin Ritchie is a good pick…I already have Atsu, so not really worth doubling now.
What is the record of Silva vs Pal? I checked Aguero’s record…..not great vs Palace (5 matches, 365 mins, 2 goals, 183 min/goal)….but Aguero still can do the damage

        • @GoalMachine for me firmino down 0.1 it ok. But you maybe loss profit?
Whats is your prediction for firmino poin vs kun? 3 big front is tempting but could back in fire too.

        • @masterdeds I thought that….as it is damaging rest of my team….rather Tadic > Silva and Alonso > Jones/Bellerin for a 4ph will strengthen my team….I need a move for next 2 weeks as will WC in next break….SOU is anyway not scoring and Tadic’s underlying stats are also not great. I watched last 2 matches of SOU just for Tadic and he was noway near to score points.

MCI’s next match is CHE – not great…LIV, ARS, EVE – all have good/better fix. in next 2.

        • @GoalMachine yup. N sometime what we think is diferent in the reality. Someone compare kun vs kane. Assumed kun get 2 goal n kane 1 with same bonus. 13-4:9 it equak. But spur better fixture.
Its happend for firmino too. Even if vardy fit he get better chance base in history. But liv vs lei. Does klopp wants revans?
The problem is sturudge. If he play.liv could be diferent style. N firmino plays wide. But without mane. It could happend.what do you think?

  3. Elliott
    Valencia, Naughton, Vertonghen, Mee
    Salah, Eriksen, Matic,
    Chicharito, Kane, Lukaku
    Subs: Foster, Loftus-Cheek, Yoshida, Ward-Prowse
    £0.4m ITB
    2x FT

Do I need Man City coverage. If so, who do I change, and for who?
Kane always scores against West Ham, and rumours that Lukaku will score a few at Southampton (possibly).
Where can I bring in a City player?

    • @jonyo Ritchie has all set-piece duties and is more sure to start every week. If you have extra 1m, then go for Ritchie. Otherwise Atsu.

  4. Hi Folks,
Transfers already done, brought in Otamendi and Mbemba, now I’m looking at formation and captaincy.
I’m thinking about dropping Mooy for Mbemba and playing 4-3-4? Who should I captain? – I’ve had no luck since GW1 with captaincy.
I’m thinking Salah for the Leicester replay noting he was rested mid week.
Your thoughts? Please and thank you.

  5. Please help my team  Dear experts,
    Just activated wildcard
    1. Thinking of changing Salah for Silva/Miki…
    2. Do you think my defence is alright?
Your thoughts please? I still have 0.4m ITB

    Thanks!

  6. What do you all think about the best route into Man City attack for my team? I have 1 FT and 0.5 itb
    de Gea
    Davies,Danilo,Mee
    Mkhi,Salah,Ritchie,Gros
    Kane,Lukaku,Firmino

My original plan was Danilo out, Kolasinac in. But I really want a City attacker too this week.
    Any suggestions?

    • @SomH3i You would need to take a hit for Aguero or Jesus (who played 90 last night) or swap out Kane or Lukaku. I would go for Mkhi to Silva if you want to keep HK and RL and not take a hit.
