Sterling gets a goal and assist, but no BP.
It looks like Sterling and KdB miss out cos they didn’t play 90 minutes
Fabianski made 7 saves, which earned him an extra point + the penalty save.
Still seems odd that he gets 2 BP when he conceded 5 goals.
Bernie Silva gets 3 BP because he was the quickest to react to the penalty save.

Mind you, that isn’t as weird as Xhaka’s bonus point – 1 assist, 1 yellow card and no clean sheet

Why is it showing your gameweek rank as 43,989 then
Sorry to say it, but I think the game is still being updated.
If you click on that “highest points” score of 63, it takes you to another player – one who fielded 11 players from yesterdays games AND took a 52 point hit in an attempt to finish Saturday with the highest points tally

  1. just shows how this game can go. this week should have been the week I caught up with leader in my ML. he didn’t free hit had 8 starters and is on 47 with Martina to play. I used my FH and have 49 with Baines and perez to play. currently 7 points behind. chose sane over d. Silva and Auba over laca. To make things worse at 11:29 yesterday I changed my captain from Salah to sterling. Even pressed confirm but it obviously didn’t go through in time :hurt:

    • @MrMajeika

Take comfort in the fact that Martina hasn’t played since GW29.
So you may make up those 7 points, although a Perez goal would cancel a Baines clean sheet.
I know what you mean though. Your eleven players, picked just for this week, should be trouncing his eight

      • @OldGoat just got to hope for a goal from each of them lol. I had van aanholt instead of Baines until last min too.

      • @OldGoat actually he had 6 starters not 8 because of ota and TAA. make that 5 of Martina doesn’t start and he’s still pretty much matched me for points. madness!

  2. Hi Guys! @Kumast – which MC players are you buying/starting next week?
I was thinking of getting Sterling and Jesus, but am concerned that Sterling will sit and and Sane will have a chance (sat out this week)…what are you thoughts on this?
    Cheers!

    • @bees393

With Aguero out, Jesus doesn’t have any real competition for the strikers slot.
He has also only played 4 matches of 70 minutes or more, plus a couple of cameo subs appearances since his injury in GW21.

Sterling may well see reduced minutes, although that is more likely in order to give Foden some first team experience (Foden replaced Sterling after 71 minutes yesterday).
Sterling and Sane play on opposite wings. Sane is realistically competing for a place with Bernardo Silva, who got the nod yesterday.
Again, a youngster is likely to get some minutes under their belt, but that would probably be as a 20 minute cameo rather than starting.
Finally, I would expect Yaya Toure to get some minutes in his final home game v Brighton.

Of all the midfield/forwards, I reckon Jesus will be given the most game time for reasons I stated at the top.

      • @OldGoat Good idea to bring in SIlva Sterling and Jesus? as my ML rival has Sterling and Silva already and must bring in Jesus this week

      • @OldGoat – thanks Mr Goat. I already have Jesus…it is the midfielders that are the issue. Sorry, I should have said that. Are you starting any MC mids?

  3. Everton: Pickford, Coleman, Jagielka, Keane, Baines, Gueye, Schneiderlin, Walcott, Rooney, Bolasie, Tosun.
Subs: Robles, Martina, Niasse, Funes Mori, Davies, Calvert-Lewin, Baningime.
Newcastle: Dubravka, Yedlin, Lascelles, Lejeune, Dummett, Shelvey, Diame, Perez, Ritchie, Kenedy, Slimani.
Subs: Darlow, Clark, Murphy, Gayle, Hayden, Manquillo, Merino.

  4. Why is Son down 55 points? It is so hard to pick MC mids for next week, I would have thought him a good option with Spurs having excellent match ups till end of season???
    Thanks!

    • @MrMajeika 62, poor week, poor choices…. one to forget
      Went Auba over Laca
      Bellerin over Monreal
      Took out Baines
      PVA over Tompkins
If a wrong call could be made this week I made that call

      • @NomdeGuerre likewise I got 60. had Baines but also chose sane instead of Silva, had Auba and changed captain from sterling to Salah last min. would have been top of my league. What’s your total points overall?

        • @MrMajeika not great
Fell badly last night when Auto subs were added and that Baines 8 points came in.
Gutted TBH, lost an important H2H game too which could cost me winning that league I won last season
GW35 promised much but delivered little for me
          Bad week

        • @Shrivathsa teams in a not so great state ATM, needs a lot of work
Think that’s me done now TBH
          3 GW to go
          No FH chip for 37
          It’s very difficult now

          Just noticed
There’s nearly 6m playing this game now
          Unbelievable number

  5. My plan at the moment for the double game week.

Pogba out – > Hazard in.

    Lukaku out -> Jesus in

Willan out – > Silva In

Vardy out – > Barnes in
